SUNCITY

Suncity is a mixed-use development of housing units, retail, offices, schools, a surgical hospital, recovery center and recreation facilities. The development sits on 500 acres within Nairobi metropolitan area, on Magadi road. This is a sustainable city with an independent renewable energy mini grid of solar, biogas and waste-to-energy.

SUNCITY DEVELOPMENT

Suncity development comprises 11400 mixed income residential housing units (RHU) to be delivered in 4 phases over 54 months. The standard 1, 2, and 3-bedroom affordable apartments are 50, 65 and 90 sqm respectively. The lux apartments come in larger 3, and 4-bedroom configuration of 110 and 150 sqm respectively. The maisonettes also come in 3, and 4-bedroom configuration of 130 and 170 sqm respectively.

Hospital


The development will include a 300 bed Surgical Hospital to be operated by a reputable international hospital operator. The 46,500 sqm facility will house up to 30 emergency room bays, 18 operating rooms, 12 ICU bays and 96 patient private rooms in addition to 36 outpatient clinics.


The facility will offer high quality healthcare supported by the latest generation of biomedical technology for accurate and short-term diagnostics to facilitate quick therapy and curation processes. The facility includes a recovery hotel for convenient stay during convalescence post treatment.

Schools


Suncity has 8,500 sqm of learning space comprising 3 Kindergartens, 1 primary school (Class 1-8) and 1 secondary school (Form 1-4). The facilities will be equipped with learning aids to world class standards to promote both arts and science learning.


The facilities are located so that all city children can cycle or walk to school. The educational facilities will be leased out to qualifying educational entrepreneurs with the requisite expertise experience and capacity to operate.
